This medium sized bud vase is glazed with a stunning glassy deep blue glaze variegated with rich iron brown which comes through on the rim. This vase is the perfect size for a single stem. The tones and depth of variation in the glaze are what remind me of a glassy lake, with the undertones of iron rich mud on the surrounding edges. Water-tight white stoneware clay fired to cone 10 in a gas kiln. Dimensions: 6.75” high x 3.25” 0.25” opening diameter at rim.
